The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly Insects of New England
March 28th, 11:00 a.m.-12:15 p.m. & 1:15 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. at Churchill's Garden Center in Exeter, NH
Join us, certified arborists, Susan Hamilton and Russ Warnock, to discuss The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly Insects of New England. Beyond bees and butterflies, we have predatory insects that make up the “Good Guys” of our urban landscape. Learn about what you can do when you find these specialized predatory insects in your garden and how you can add more to your landscape. Extending from the "Good" guys, we will also discuss the “Bad and Ugly” insects that wreak havoc on the landscape and result in thousands of dollars of damage in our New England towns annually. How can you identify their existence without seeing them, and what steps can you take to protect your property from the ugliest of insects? Our topic will feature three insects from each category, with fun and educational information to share with friends and family, and tips on protection and prevention.
